Andromeda Galaxy

The interesting part of this long exposure shot appears to be in the upper right hand corner of the sky. You can see a very bright point among all the stars. It is the Andromeda Galaxy, also known as Messier 31 (M31). Its a giant spiral galaxy that contains approximately 1 bilion stars! It is the most distant object in the sky that you can see with your unaided eye and it’s at a distance of 2.5 milion light years! Which means that what you are seeing in the photo its the Andromeda Galaxy the way it was 2,5 milions years ago, and the way it really is nowdays could be photograph by someone else but in 2,5 milion years!!!

Just some thought to feed your brain…
